Princess Sophia Duleep Singh (1876-1948) Prominent suffragette, daughter of the exiled Maharaja Duleep Singh (last Maharaja of the Sikh Empire) and goddaughter to Queen Victoria.

Sylvia Pankhurst (1882-1960) English artist, campaigner for the suffragette movement, prominent left communist and anti-fascist activist.

Ida B Wells (1862-1931) American investigative journalist, educator, and an early leader in the civil rights movement.

Annie Kenney (1879-1953) Working-class English suffragette who became a leading figure in the WSPU.

Emmeline Pankhurst (1858-1928) British political activist and founder and leader of the British suffragette movement (WSPU).

Sarah Parker Remond (1826-1894) African American slavery abolitionist, lecturer and physician.

Sarojini Naidu (1879-1949) Indian political activist, first woman Governor of India, and poet.
